Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 to 23 years.

Age Relaxation: Category-wise upper age limit relaxations are as mentioned below.

  • UR: 5
  • OBC/MOBC: 5+3
  • SC: 5+5
  • ST: 5+5

Nationality/Citizenship: Candidate must be:

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A subject of Bhutan.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must be 10th passed or equivalent from a recognised board or institute.

Sports Qualification:

(i) Players who have represented in any recognized International events representing the country. Or

(ii) Players represented a State/UT in the Senior or Junior level National championship Or

(iii) Players represented a University in an Inter-University competition. Or

(iv) Players represented the State Schools in the National Sports/Games for Schools. Or

(v) Players awarded National Award in physical efficiency under National physical efficiency Drive.

Selection Process

Sashastra Seema Bal has invited applications for the recruitment of General Duty posts. Written examination will be conducted for which the written exam date will be announced soon. The detailed exam pattern and syllabus is given below.
